I'd like to introduce a new blog venture that I have started tnpoliticsblog.com. This will be the new home of the great Tennessee political news coverage you have come to know from the Simply I blog. Some people had asked why a blog called "Simply I" had so much focus on Tennessee politics. I admit that it's a big part of my interest, but then again simply politics not not simply I. I noticed this when people began changing their links from "Simply I" to "Adam Groves." Then, I realized that my original intent was to much more broad with this blog, including my interests in philosophy, game theory, theology, and other humanities, most of which have been very much neglected by my expansive daily round-ups of Tennessee politics.

Don't get me wrong. I love doing it. I'm not scaling back and I'm certainly not retiring. Tennessee Politics Blog is simply the new home of the political round-ups some of you regularly come here for. So the Tennessee politics will be there and here I will blog occassional commentary, insights, and other miscellaneous postings, which will be more personal in nature. Plus, it will allow me to have guest commentators focused entirely on Tennessee Politics. (How can you have a guest blogger on a blog called Simply I?) Not to mention Tennessee Politics Blog is better marketed as the one stop shop for Tennessee Political News, so hopefully it will get more mainstream attention, than a blog marketed as "Simply I."

Also, if you are currently linking the Senate Dashboard, you may want to update your links to http://senate.tnpoliticsblog.com. Don't worry, though- I will be changing out your current link to automatically refer to that location, if there are old links.
