- Republican Terry Roland will ask a meeting of the Senate committee charged with investigating the special election in District 29 to overturn the vote due to the presence of voter fraud in the form of dead people voting today. Blogger Nathan Moore is among those going to the committee meeting. Hopefully he reports on something good throughout the day.
- The Chattanooga Times Free Press reports that Tennessee's revenue is improving.
- Looks like candidates for the US Senate in 2006 are closer to formalizing a debate schedule. Ed Bryant sent out a press release that encouraged the creation of a six debate circuit schedule and former Chattanooga Mayor Bob Corker sent out a release saying he favored the idea and it was a good starting point.
- The Tennessean reveals that Deputy Governor Dave Cooley appears to be at the epicenter of the controversies surrounding Governor Bredesen, whether it be the shreading of sexual harassment files or the TN Dept. of Safety promotions for donations scheme.
