- Ford family patriach Harold Ford Sr, now says he will conduct his own investigation on how two dead people were allowed to vote in the September election that saw his sister elected to her brother's State Senate seat. Ford seems convinced that Republicans are behind the skulduggery. The Shelby Co. GOP Chair, Bill Giannini called Ford's statements "absurd." Ignoring the long illustrious Ford family history, if Republicans were behind this fraud, why would they be the ones to bring it up?

Check out his website and enjoy Bill Conti's classic "Gonna Fly Now" (the theme from Rocky) as your browse -- yes, I'm serious.
- Dave Goetz told Steve Gill that the Governor has been too busy to deal with political cronyism in the Tennessee Department of Safety, according to today's Tennessean. Bredesen it turns out has been busy doing other things, like breaking out canvas and watercolor to paint a nice December scene which will be featured on the family's Christmas card.
