Former Gubernatorial candidate and current US Senate candidate Van Hilleary has been getting the punches of the left and the right recently on the blogosphere. Predictably, Blogging for Bryant has taken a few hits at Van over his talking point that a loss in the Governor's race makes him a good candidate to succeed Bill Frist. Bill Hobbs notes why Van's 2002 campaign for Governor was a disaster and Smijer and Buck, a liberal Chattanooga blog, takes Van's voting record to task. Meanwhile, the pro-Van presence on the blogosphere, a blog called "The View from Here" hasn't been updated in nearly a month.
