State Senator Tim Burchett (R-Knoxville), I fear, has been the victim of a mean joke on the part of the people he formally paid to host his website. At least that's the only reason I can think of why the domain of his campaign website (which expires before his 2006 reelection campaign) directs you instead to the website of the Tennessee Democratic Party. If the webhosting company is run by a hardcore Republican, they're probably up at arms with Burchett for his controversial vote for Democratic Lt. Governor John Wilder. The website hasn't be active since 2002 when Burchett was last running for the Senate seat, according to the Way Back Machine.
