An update on the issue of a church encouraging the import of voters to influence Brentwood's city elections is in today's Nashville City Paper. "While it is likely that some voters still registered to an address could be former homeowners who haven’t been purged from the voter rolls, some houses list up to seven persons who voted in the September Mallory Lane referendum and in the November presidential election." However, it is still unclear if there are elections laws being broken and officials are now treating the charges as a possible city codes violation, rather than a violation of electoral law.
