Glenn Reynolds has an article in the Wall Street Journal today in praise of Governor Phil Bredesen and the possibility he may soon become a national candidate. It won't be without bumps, though, Reynolds points out. The article quotes blogger South Knox Bubba and Knoxville lawyer Douglas C. Weinstein, both of whom base their criticism on the fact that Bredesen has abandoned traditional Democratic bases. Bubba's criticism is more poignant and telling of Democratic mentality would be nation-wide, I'm afraid- the neoconservative support of Bredesen is the plague.
